Welcome to the Philadelphia Young Communist League
The Young Communist League, USA (YCL) is an independent, mass, public organization devoted to the interests of all young people. We are dedicated to the revolutionary cause of the working class of our country and the transformation of the United States through mass democratic struggle into a socialist society.
WHAT WE DO
Our task is to help our members become Communists. We learn to struggle by studying Marxism-Leninism and through active participation in the day-to-day challenges of the working people and youth. We fight to combat racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, and all other forms of discrimination.
We are a training ground for young communists and serve as an introductory space to communism and to the CPUSA. However, we also function as our own organization by running our own campaigns, setting our own priorities, establishing our own areas of work, and electing our own leadership
